I left school with my qualifications in hand and headed off to find paid employment, eager to find my place in the world. Fast forward twelve years and dozens of jobs from examinations coordinator to drivers mate and car park attendant to Avon sales rep and I am still trying to find my place.
I realised none of the jobs made me happy and I began serious soul searching which led me to the concept of writing for a living. It's still early days, but I am enjoying the process and determined that with continued effort I will get to where I want to be.
I am passionate about football, movies, music, spirituality, family, friends, life, love, peace, nature, photography, animals, veganism, comedy, human rights, animal rights, freedom of speech, communication.
I write articles and poetry covering a wide range of subjects. I have written a number of articles online and being early in my career I am trying to showcase my work as far and wide as possible.
In my poems I tend to feel the words rather than think them and allow the words to come through me. I tend to tackle hard hitting issues and express my opinion of things I see around me, people I meet and situations in the world. Many of my poems reflect a darker side of life within society and the world in general.
I am working on my first novel, preparing a collection of poetry and I have been approached by Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue Service with regard to using one of my poems (Drive Carefully) as part of an upcoming road safety campaign.
